Really Like You

This Valentine’s Day, my country is having a bit different way to celebrate it. We’re having a Presidential Election in this year’s Valentine’s Day. And of course, trying to use my voice as good as I can, I also join to vote at that day.

Since I’m using my Grandpa’s address as my address in my ID (I live with my Grandparents back then), I ended up have to vote on my Grandpa’s area. Luckily, this year, they asked my Grandpa to borrow his house’s yard as the location for the voting. So I just need to go to my Grandpa’s place~! Lucky!

COMIFURO DAY 1 START!!! \(OwO)/

Me and my boothmates promised to meet around 7 o’clock at the event venue (it’s at ICE BSD). The staff (a the tech meeting) said that the loading dock (the exhibitor’s entrance) back gate of the hall where we’ll held the event will be open so we can put stuffs there first before park the car since it’s kind of far from the parking area to the loading dock. But when I arrived, apparently it was closed. And somehow, even though the event was open around 9.30, it was already crowded with the event guests. WOA!

After some chaos due to my boothmates unable to enter without park first and their stuffs was so heavy (I ended up helping bringing them while bringing my own stuffs and ended up having shoulder pain), we managed to enter the event area (after registration and taking our name tags). It takes few times back and forth taking stuffs from car to the booth table area. It really is tiring. I feel like having a morning exercise before event. (_ _|||)

Rythm Of The Night

So! Finally the event is a wrap! And Comivuro #1 is officially closed. \(OwO)/

It was fun, trying new experiences, since online event was totally different than the offline event. I was kind of tired due to have to keep on checking the [Want To Buy] section on the Discord to find the prospective buyer and notice them regarding my shop. XD It was fun but totally tiring. Thankfully, even though just a few number, I got customers. (OwO)v Ehehehe

Gone Too Soon

July just started and I feel like my spirit and will to continue going on left me… In this two days (2nd and 3rd), I already got two obituaries. And one of it was someone I know well.

The first one was Ryu’s friend, Riphqy. Ryu often play D&D with him back then when he’s still working in Jakarta. I also once chatted with him when me and Ryu just started our relationship. He was a friendly and nice person. I mean—he didn’t judge me or anything, and accept me and in a way cheer me and Ryu’s relationship (which means a lot for me).

The second one was my highschool friend, Wilis. We’re on the same grade and during our freshmen year, we attend school organization event together. She was a bright and full of spirit. One of the toughest girl I ever know. Like, you cannot not know her if you’re in my year, since she’s so friendly and will greet anyone. If I can exaggerated it, I’ll say she’s Wonder Woman in the flesh.

See You Again

This week has been a big blow to me… Even now I still can’t believe it.. Everything feels so surreal… To the point if this is a nightmare, I want to wake up as fast as I can…

So… I got a news that a dear friend of mine during my undergraduate days died few days ago. He was one of my closest friend back then. Also one of the memorable Dungeon Master and the one who make me interested on delving into fantasy stuffs. He told me many things back then, and we went through many adventures of pen & paper together. With the age of 1 year older than me, I still can’t believe he’s gone now.

Childhood Memories

So these few days I’ve been going here and there to schools outside Kyoto city doing stuffs as Kyoto Friendship Ambassador. Usually the schools ask the ambassadors to share story regarding their country toward the students and sometimes also do a cultural exchange (like playing the ambasador’s traditional children game and so on).

Usually I can’t share those experiences in the blog since the rule regarding identity privacy is very strong here in Japan. But this time, since the event of cultural exchange was posted on the school’s web page, so I guess it’s okay? (as long as I put the source link I guess X’D). Continue reading

It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas

You know those event in manga, when Christmas comes and there are konbini (convenience store in Japanese) worker or fried chicken restaurant worker selling fried chicken in front of their shop while shouting and calling customers? Somehow when I think of Christmas in Japan, those image was strong in my mind. Maybe since I know Japan first from manga and anime.

So when the store manager where I work part time said they will be doing that during this Christmas, I was so excited!! Well, this might sound weird, but while I’m in Japan, I want to experience many thing. And this is included. XD Mangaesque Japanese life! What else can you ask? Hehehehe

We’re doing it on 24th and 25th of December, and it was fun!!! It is indeed cold (well, winter d’uh?), but we’re allowed to use our jacket. We were also using santa hat. XD It’s fun shouting to everyone passing by to check out our fried chicken. Sometimes I ended up shouting to people on the car and they’re just laughing and waving at us. Well, sharing Christmas spirit is always fun right? XD
