So… Today, I’m having so much fun with big bro, Ryu, and big bro’s friends, Shandy and Nyu. 😀 They wanted to go to Kiyomizudera, so me and Ryu take the role of a tour guide to show the way. 😀
We meet at Shijo Kawaramachi bus stop and take a bit walk to Gion to take a bus which takes us to Kiyomizudera. 😀 There’s 2 bus stop which you can take if you want to go to Kiyomizudera, it’s Kiyomizumichi bus stop and Gojo Zaka bus stop. 🙂 We decided to take the Kiyomizumichi bus stop. 😀
The way to Kiyomizudera is a bit steep. It’s a hill after all. So yeah, it’s totally tiring. When we arrived near the shopping district, Shandy and Nyu decided to buy some softcream first. 😀 And so we take a rest for a while. Gosh.. When was the last I take some excercise? It’s tiring already.. 😦
So, when Shandy and Nyu finished eating their softcream, we continue our trip. 😀
On the way I found this Sakamoto Ryoma metal pin gachaphon!!! Well, yeah, I’m a die hard Sakamoto Ryoma fan. XD I tried 3 times, and get 3 different kind of pin: Sakamoto Ryoma’s family crest, Ryoma’s chibi illustration, and Ryoma + Oryo (his wife)’s illustration. 😀 Perfect!
While walking, I realized there’s this Benkei and Yoshitsune figure on top of few stores with a clock on it. And you know what? Apparently it’s a mechanical doll! 😮 A Japanese karakuri!!! When the time is over, the doll move back to each side, leaving the middle to be empty. 😮 COOL!!!
Ah! I always love walking to Kiyomizudera. Why? There are a lot of food and snack stalls there! XD I always buy this Tako (Octopus) and Shisho (Perilla leaf) fish cake everytime I go to Kiyomizudera. 😀 It taste nice! :9
And so.. WE ARRIVED AT KIYOMIZUDERA!!!
And what you must do when you arrived at Kiyomizudera? Act like a tourist and take a picture of course! And so that’s what we do 😀 Hehehehe
And so, after that, as usual, I’m taking snap shots everywhere! 😀 Somehow these two lady looks perfect near the big red gate. 🙂
And apparently, it’s still spring in Japan, although it’s hot already. The ticket to Kiyomizudera changes depends on the season. 🙂 It’s worth to collect I think. 😉
And this is us in front of the main attraction!!! \(=w=)/ From left: Nyu, big bro (back), Shandy (front), and me! 😀 Ryu is taking the photo. 😀
Since we haven’t had any lunch nor breakfast, and tired (while waiting for another big bro’s friend), we decide to take a rest for a while and eat something. 🙂 Zarusoba (cold soba) for big bro and Ryu, while Lemon Soda and Strawberry Milk Shaved Ice for me. 😀 YUMMY! :9
So.. after meeting big bro’s friend, we continue our trip to Ninenzaka – Sannenzaka.. But of course.. The culinary trip didn’t stop there! There’s still room for Kiyomizu Manju:
And Chocolate Strawberry Brownie Crepe:
On the way to Sannenzaka (or Ninenzaka? I forgot.. :/), we take a bit detour and take a picture in front of Yasaka Pagoda. 😀 SENTAI TIME!!!
-(=w=-) \(=w=\) \(=w=)/ (/=w=)/ (-=w=)-
After that, another long walk until we reach Yasaka Shrine in Gion. 😀
Apparently, there are few food stalls there. 😀 Shandy and Nyu decided to buy some Apple Toffee and share some love~! XD
Hahaha.. Joking.. That’s just me asking them to pose like that. :p
And for me, some Jumbo Crab Stick!!! IT’S TOTALLY DELISH!!! X9
It was tiring but fun..! 😀 Even after those walking, we still continue with playing at Kamo river’s bank, since Nyu wants to try to soak his legs on the river. 😀 Well, Ryu ended up sleeping, while I’m having some nice time enjoying the wind. 😀
AAAHHH!!! OVER ALL, today was nice! Totally nice! 😀 Can’t wait for the next crazy trip with the guys. 😀
I guess that’s all for now. 😀 Jya~ne!
Sincerely, Bena nDR
