Sakura

After yesterday’s Arashiyama trip, somehow my mom wants to walk to Kamo River today. She wants to have some sort of picnic on the river bank. πŸ™‚ So, me, my mom, and my dad decided to have a walk. My big bro will go after us when he’s ready. :p Of course my mom bring some hot drink, but since she didn’t bring any food, and my dad suddenly hungry, we decided to take a short stop at FRESCO supermarket near Kamo River before continue our walk. πŸ˜€

And I guess we were quite lucky today. πŸ˜€

The sky was so blue, the weather is warm, and the sakura already starts to bloom. πŸ˜€ A perfect timing for some picnic! πŸ˜€ And we were even more lucky! We got some place to take a rest and have some picnic. πŸ˜€

My mom opened the drink container she brought, fortunately it’s hot coffee. πŸ˜€ So with a cup of hot coffee and croquette, we sit and enjoy the beautiful sakura bloom around us. πŸ™‚

And after the food is finished, and the drink has all gulped down. It’s time for some photograph session, don’t you think? πŸ˜‰ Fufufu.. It would be a waste of beautiful scenery if we didn’t take some pics. πŸ˜€

After fulfilling our thirst on sakura flower, we decided to go back home and take some rest for a while. πŸ˜€ Of course, on the way, a lot of beautiful flowers can be seen as well. πŸ™‚

But that didn’t end our sakura journey today. πŸ˜€ After having a rest, and bought tickets for Haruka train to Kansai Airport for April 3rd (my parents go back to Indonesia that day), we dedided to take a short trip to Toji.

Toji is a small temple located not far from Kyoto Station. Just go through the south gate (not the one where you can see Kyoto Tower, but one where you can see AEON and AVANTI), and just walk around 15 minutes from there. πŸ˜€ Β Currently, they were having a sakura light up! πŸ˜€ So we can enjoy sakura viewing not only on day, but also at night. πŸ˜‰ The ticket for night sakura viewing is 500 yen. πŸ˜€

Of course, I took some pics πŸ˜€ Here are the pics I took at Toji.Β The sceneryΒ was beautiful and stunning. Seeing from picture is nothing compare to seeing it with your own eyes in my honest opinion. πŸ˜€

That’s all for today. πŸ˜€ I hope you’re having fun seeing the pictures the way I’m having fun taking it. πŸ˜€ Jya~ne! πŸ˜€

Sincerely, Bena nDR
